Men don’t always admit when they’re attracted to someone, but their odd behaviors will reveal the truth.
Over-grooming

You’ve entered his vision, and now his subconscious mind goes into overdrive grooming mode. Tucking down his non-wrinkled shirt, adjusting his collar that isn’t crooked, running his fingers through his hair, looking at his watch again and again (but not actually looking at the time).
These are just natural, almost programmed reactions, brought on by nervous energy he’s not even aware of, all to look his physical best.
Clumsiness

Men who normally are confident and coordinated can become extremely clumsy around women they’re attracted to. Things like dropping keys, spilling drinks, tripping over nothing, or fumbling words can happen when he’s thrown off his game.
This is the body’s response to high heart rates and nervous tension. With his mind zeroed in on your reactions, he might temporarily misplace his sense of where things are.
Forget words

A man who’s usually so adept at conversation can suddenly go completely mute, forgetting even simple pleasantries like hello, when he’s trying to speak to a woman he finds exceptionally attractive.
An increased heart rate and adrenaline rush can make him slur words, forget what he says all the time, or stop halfway through a sentence. This mental blank occurs because he’s so focused on crafting a witty remark that he loses his original train of thought.
Competition

Attraction causes a primitive, unconscious urge in a man to prove himself to you. This can come out in ways that feel aggressive or childish. Suddenly, he becomes competitive about silly things, like taking a casual board game seriously, arguing about who knows more random movie quotes, or racing you to the car.
He isn’t trying to defeat you or make you feel inferior, just frantically trying to impress you with his abilities and hold your interest.
Too close

Instead of being blunt about it, he’ll find creative roundabout ways to get himself into your physical vicinity. He may sit down right across from your desk. He may take the long way around your desk to get a glass of water. He may linger by the same cluster of people as you are at a crowded party.
He doesn’t have to be trying to start up a deep conversation with you right then and there. Just knowing you’re in the same room is pleasing to him.
Over-explaining

Nervousness can cause a guy’s filter to go out the window and stretch a simple two-sentence response into an excessive, rambling tale.
Just trying to impress you, seem exciting, or stay focused on you for another minute longer, he’ll overanalyze trivial things that happened to him that day, at work or when pursuing his hobbies. Scared of silence, his brain races to fill the air with useless details, revealing his desperate attempt to entertain you.
Voice changes

One of the strongest physical cues to look for is changes in his voice. Whenever a man is talking to someone that attracts him, his vocal cords tend to relax, without him even realizing it, which lowers the tone of his voice. A lower tone means his voice is deeper, warmer, and softer.
Teasing

Teasing can bond two people by creating a private little world just for the two of them, particularly when it leads to inside jokes you reference in years to come.
The difference comes in your feelings about it. Friendly teasing knows your limits and ends with everyone smiling; if it makes you feel embarrassed, insulted, or belittled, then it’s not coming from a place of attraction.
Mirroring

Unknowingly to you, he will start to unconsciously mimic your body language, hand movements, and even rhythm of speech. You cross your legs, lean back, take a sip of your drink, or lower your voice. Watch as he does the identical thing only seconds after you do. Mirroring is a subconscious psychological process that establishes non-verbal rapport.
Eye contact

Eye contact from someone you’re attracted to feels different. You can’t simulate true romantic interest. If a man likes you, he’ll hold your gaze just slightly longer than social conventions dictate. Or he’ll make eye contact across the room and see you looking back at him, then shyly look away the instant you lock eyes.
That quick moment when he held eye contact with you was his internal battle between wanting to look at you and fearfully realizing he may be letting you know how he felt.
